In 2017 and 2018, our apprentices achieved something very special: they worked as a team to build their own electric car - the E-Rod. Even back then, all apprentices worked together across departments and took on tasks that suited their profession. From mechanics to electronics, from planning to design - everyone contributed their specialist knowledge.
The result: a fully functional e-car that is officially approved for road use. Since then, the E-Rod has been available to all employees and apprentices - and continues to generate enthusiasm to this day. This project was not only a lot of fun, but also a unique experience for everyone, showing what is possible when team spirit, skill and creativity come together.
